Katrina & Daniel live in Hong Kong and are some of the most beautiful and intelligent people I’ve had the honor of meeting. They flew in briefly a couple of weeks back, trekked down to Goulburn and we shared a beautiful time getting to know each other – we took some photos at the same time. I’m so excited for their upcoming wedding in Sydney – and to pop in and see them in HK in mid June. :)

I drove into Sydney centre for a couple of hours last weekend around sunset to pick up my amazing fiance from a conference. It was cool and dark in the city and the light and temperature dropped pretty quickly. I love to walk in cities, to explore my love on a deeper level. Photographing people in environments, taking in the sights and smells. Looking for the little things – a touch, a moment, an expression of the heart. My fascination and love is for the people – for the individual.

I feel so honoured and blessed to be able to do what I do – to love, to believe, to create, to see. It’s quite humbling to even think anyone other than myself enjoy what I do too.

Matt & Louise

Matt & Louise were married just over a week ago at Hotel Realm in Canberra. Louise was beautiful and quirky, Matt stylish yet sincere. The wedding was an amazingly personalised and a beautifully expression of their warmth and unique personalities. I enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate in their special day, and wish Matt and Louise all the best for their future.

Last week I met up with Carly & Tyron in Watsons Bay to hang out and do an engagement session. We’ve been chatting on the phone nearly every second day for a month or two and it was so lovely to meet them in person and get to spend some time with them. They’re having an amazing Jewish wedding in just a couple of months on The Rocks in Sydney and I know already its going to be one of many highlights for 2012. Oh, and happy new year :) (just a tad late I know)

There is something incredibly genuine about Jess & Josh, they are honestly some of the most beautiful people I know. I count it such a blessing and honor to have been a part of their wedding day and I know our friendship will extend in the years to come. People like these are the kind of people that you want around for the rest of your life.

This is their wedding day, the day they are officially joined together. A day full of anticipation, love and joy. A day that we spent together – This is how I experienced their day.

Henry & Lauren

Most couples generally usually work pretty hard to make sure they’ve got all planned and sorted for their wedding, but Henry & Lauren (along with some helping hands) spent 6 months restoring Henry’s fathers old sheep shearing shed into their dream wedding reception venue, planning decorations, installing chandeliers (yup, cool huh ;) and hand polishing rusty silverware. A huge thanks to my assistant Miles for doing such a great job, A few of his images are below. Henry & Lauren: thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day, it’ll definitely be a day I remember and cherish.
